Gochujang Chicken
Just because summer is over, doesn’t mean the BBQ needs to be locked away. Perfect way to bulk prep chicken for the next few days.
INGREDIENTS
400g Chicken thigh
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small brown onion, grated
1 Tbsp Gochujang
2 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 Tbsp Rice vinegar
1 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Sesame seeds
METHOD
Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl and marinade the chicken for 15-20mins.
Meanwhile preheat a BBQ or oven set to grill on max heat.
Place chicken onto the hot grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip, and baste with the gochujang sauce.
After another 3 minutes, flip again basting the other side.
Cook for 1-2 minutes flipping one more time basting after each flip. Continue cooking until chicken is fully cooked through.
Perfect when served over a bed of rice, in a wrap, or made into a burger.
