Just because summer is over, doesn’t mean the BBQ needs to be locked away. Perfect way to bulk prep chicken for the next few days.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g Chicken thigh

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small brown onion, grated

  • 1 Tbsp Gochujang

  • 2 Tbsp Soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Rice vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp Honey

  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds

METHOD

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl and marinade the chicken for 15-20mins. 

  2. Meanwhile preheat a BBQ or oven set to grill on max heat. 

  3. Place chicken onto the hot grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip, and baste with the gochujang sauce. 

  4. After another 3 minutes, flip again basting the other side. 

  5. Cook for 1-2 minutes flipping one more time basting after each flip. Continue cooking until chicken is fully cooked through.

Perfect when served over a bed of rice, in a wrap, or made into a burger.
