Apple and Sultana Porridge

Porridge season.

INGREDIENTS

  • 80g oats

  • 300ml milk

  • 60g sultanas

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 apple, grated

  • 2 Tbsp sugar free maple syrup

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

METHOD

  1. On the stovetop, mix oats, milk, sultanas, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat.

  2. Once it has reached a boil, turn down the heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Add grated apple, and if desired, adjust the consistency by adding a dash of milk or water. Allow to cool slightly.

  4. Mix through protein powder and cinnamon. Top with sugar free maple syrup and serve.
