Everything with Egg
If you struggle with cooking, or the very thought of it sends you into a state of panic, it could be time to shift your perspective. This week, we're tackling another one of our key eating strategies to dismantle common barriers people have towards cooking.
No kitchen police are coming to get you: eat foods you enjoy together, no matter how weird the combination is to other people.
Let’s erase the imaginary lines between what "should" and "shouldn't" go together. History shows us that the most innovative dishes arise not from strict adherence to rules but from the courage to experiment and blend the seemingly incompatible. Consider the divisive yet beloved combinations like ice cream and fries, cheese paired with fruit, or the bold mix of chocolate and chili. These pairings prove that breaking the mold can lead to delicious discoveries - ones that are not everyone’s cup of tea.
The point is, food is a deeply personal experience, and what matters most is that you enjoy what you're eating. After all, the best meals are the ones that bring us joy, regardless of how they might appear on the plate.
This throw together is one of my weekly staples. I personally love this combo and find it a great way to use whatever is left in the fridge!
Vegetables - anything that you have in the fridge
Eggs
Cheese - feta, Tasty, cottage cheese, etc.
Relish
In a non-stick pan, fry the vegetables until soft and golden. Add eggs and when partly cooked the cheese. Serve with relish.
Note: For those following one of our nutrition plans the portion of the main foods (eggs, cheese, etc.) will be on your plan. Find a relish that aligns with your recommended “condiment” serve.
Here are the other two eating strategies that we have discussed so far:
